This mouthpiece is available in two cup sizes, 1/2g and 1-1/2g, providing musicians with the flexibility to choose the one that best suits their playing style and sound preference.
The 1/2g cup is a medium-large size, offering a balanced and versatile sound with a strong low register and a clear, projecting high range. It is ideal for players who prefer a brighter sound and a more focused projection.
The 1-1/2g cup, on the other hand, is a larger size, delivering a full, rich sound with a warm, rounded tone. It is perfect for players who want a more mellow, darker sound and a broader dynamic range.
Both mouthpieces are made of hand-lapped yellow brass, ensuring a smooth and even surface for a superior response and intonation. The rim is designed with a comfortable, rounded shape, allowing for easy air flow and a secure, comfortable grip.
The Greg 1/2g 1-1/2g Bass Trombone Single/Dual Mouthpiece features a dual-ring design, which allows musicians to switch between a single and a dual-bore tip easily. The single-bore tip provides a brighter, more focused sound, while the dual-bore tip offers a more balanced, full-bodied tone.

Details:
Ended up going to a larger size and not needing it anymore. This mouthpiece is practically in brand-new condition apart from some scuffing where the shank meets lead pipe. It got me to IL area on bass trombone and was an excellent mouthpiece for a single/dual-bore horn.
