Serial # 112624. According to what I could find the Martin handcraft imperial was the top of line until 1939. The owner, my father, played in the 1957 dixieland jazz album: cool isms featuring sharpies and I have included a picture of that album.

Please see pictures for details about this trumpet. I don't play, and therefore cannot answer any technical questions about this trumpet. Bells made of yellow trumpet brass, hand-hammered to perfect temper and resilience but still heavy enough give the instrument an unfathomable depth power through every register. Valves and slides are of wear proof nickel silver, hand ground to perfect smoothness air water-tight fit.
