Even though seemingly well used, this instrument has beautiful tone, is a big player for bass and slots very with great intonation. Per Bach: model 50b 9-1/2 one-piece yellow brass bell, traditional rotor mechanism, wrap. Our horns may be buffed, but all are hand polished to a good shine and in playable condition. There are various dings, waves, small dents on the bell and some minor scratching throughout. The stockings are in good condition.

The slide action is good/very good and there excellent compression. There is light pitting at the grips and some denting on slide end. All major dents are removed, joints re-soldered if needed, patches repaired necessary and the slides reworked. This instrument is not lacquered; therefore, this may have to be polished periodically.

This comes with a large bore vincent Bach mouthpiece and used case some damage on the outside, but inside is pretty good. There are a couple of larger dents-one near the valve and would not be removed unless taking instrument apart. It is made from yellow brass and has serial #116x.
