Should this be re soldered. Important to note: the brace on bell side to horn is slightly separated see photo 6. I am pricing it low. The high register is in easy reach and remains relatively accurate pitch.

There are numerous finish blemishes and scratches, but it doesn't look that bad. So i'd say leave it unattached as is. The nickel plating is missing from left side of the main bend, the one with water key and leadpipe small spotting on brass in tubing that enters 3rd valve. I just review the listing and in photos misspelled lacquer as lacquer.

I sold many of these and others agreed it enhanced the quality sound projection ability. Its a hassle to change the photos so misspelling must remain. The tone with the Bach 7c mouthpiece is bright and projects very well for a cornet. This cornet could be completely restored.

This is one of the better entry-level cornets with a distinctive Teri-color finish-copper,brass and nickel. What more to say buy it, try play it. I am using it case for shipping purposes. I have too many cornets and trumpets play only three of them.

The bell is in good shape for its age. This cornet has some age, made in 1957 ascertained from the serial numbers on Holton loyalist site. In my opinion, no. Medium bore and easy to play, the compression is good on all three valves are smooth fast.
