There is a King counterweight and nice engraving on the bell. The serial number is 327x and has matching numbers on the slide. The 2-b is one of the best jazz leads ever made. There is minor pitting and wear at the grips.

All major dents are removed, joints re-soldered if needed, patches repaired necessary and the slides reworked. Our horns may be buffed, but all are hand polished to a good shine and in playable condition. The slide action is super with very good compression and the stockings are excellent/like new. The bell diameter is 7.375 and bore .481/.491.

The slide crook has a couple of small dings. This instrument is not lacquered; therefore, this may have to be polished periodically. It comes with a used mouthpiece may not be the one pictured and used, original case in poor condition name address of previous owner sticker on outside. Powerful horn with good tone that can be played softly as well and has intonation.

The horn is made of yellow brass and solid nickel. There are various dings and small dents throughout. The horn plays bright, great jazz, very direct and slots well. There are previous repairs made: a patch repair on the end crook and to slide lock pictured.
