There is light scratching and dings here there. This is a great playing horn with very good intonation, quick response and power. All major dents are removed, joints re-soldered if needed, patches repaired necessary and the slides reworked. The horn has excellent compression.

For consistent, fast, smooth, dependable action. As far as tone, it is one of the best Conn trombones i've ever played. It is a good all-around player, especially jazz. This horn comes with a mouthpiece may not be the one pictured and used, worn king case in decent condition, but does fit this very well.

The horn is made of yellow brass with nickel trim.the slide bore. 500/.500 and the bell flare is 7.5. Outside slides are of special formula brass alloy. Our horns may be buffed, but all are hand polished to a good shine and in playable condition.

There is a 'slight' flatness on one part of the rim, barely noticeable. The slide action is very good; however one stocking has a flake at the bottom and another top; but with no ill effects to smoothness of. The horn has serial #432x. Medium large bore offers plenty of power and volume, easily controlled down to soft whisper.

There is light pitting at the grips. There is also a 'ping' in one outer slide that does not seem to affect the action. And tonal quality from sweet to brilliant.
