The Vincent Bach 50BG Stradivarius Double Thayer Valve Trombone is a professional-level instrument that is renowned for its exceptional sound quality and craftsmanship. This trombone is part of the Stradivarius series, which is considered the gold standard in the world of trombones.
The 50BG model is a F-attachment trombone, which means that the slide attaches to the bell flare with a taper that is wider at the bell than at the slide Crook. This design provides excellent intonation and response, making it a favorite among professional musicians and serious students.
The 50BG features a 7.5-inch, large-bore bell, which is made of high-quality yellow brass. The large bell produces a rich, full sound with excellent projection and clarity. The trombone also includes a 5-position slide lock, which allows for easy positioning of the slide for transport or storage.
The 50BG comes with a Thayer Deluxe 1st Valve Slide and a Thayer 3rd Valve Slide. These slides offer smooth action and excellent sealing, ensuring consistent intonation and response. The trombone also includes a Bach 5C mouthpiece, which is known for its excellent response and projection.
The 50BG is constructed with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. The brass is hand-spun and hand-lapped, ensuring a smooth and even surface for optimal intonation and response. The instrument is also lacquer-finished, which provides a beautiful appearance and protects the brass from corrosion.
In summary, the Vincent Bach 50BG Stradivarius Double Thayer Valve Trombone is a professional-level instrument that delivers exceptional sound quality and craftsmanship. Its large-bore bell, Thayer slides, and high-quality construction make it a favorite among serious musicians and students. Whether you're performing in a symphony orchestra, jazz band, or brass ensemble, the 50BG is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a top-quality trombone.
