There are virtually no dents save for a very small ding/blemish on the bottom of instrument. This horn has no case, but would fit easily in any readily available gig bags. Compression was found to be exemplary for a horn of this age. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.

This is a classic London made Besson 4 valve compensating euphonium. The valves are in good shape and quick responsive. I've been able to unexpectedly acquire a newer model, and have made the difficult choice say good bye this remarkable instrument. It has been recently cleaned and serviced with new corks valve cushions.

The horn plays well in all registers and has a lovely warm tone. It is definitely worn in some places giving the appearance of a warm patina. For a horn of this maturity the lacquer remains in very good condition over most. Serial number 567503.

It has been my backup horn, but I play it briefly everyday, and oil the valves several times a week. All slides pull easily and have regularly cleaned greased. It has a large bore, and I would be happy to include either Bach 6 1/2am or suchlike 52. This would be an ideal horn for a student or intermediate player.
