This is a great all-around player with good tone. The horn is made of yellow brass with nickel silver braces. This horn is not lacquered and may need to be polished periodically with a good metal polish. The horn comes with a used, very worn case and mouthpiece may not be the one pictured.
All major dents are removed, joints re-soldered if needed, patches repaired necessary and the slides reworked. This horn is made well with good intonation, response and tons of power a real find for a great price. There is light scratching here and there some pitting at the grips. Our horns may be buffed, but all are hand polished to a good shine and in playable condition.
The slide action is very good and the inner slides are clean with compression low wear. It does everything well. The engraving on the bell shows as: Roth made by Roth-reynolds inst. The slide bore is .500/.5 with 7.5 bell flare.
