The Eastman EEP426 and EEP426S Intermediate Euphonium Valves are superior quality components designed to enhance the performance of your intermediate to advanced level euphonium. These valves are crafted with precision and attention to detail, ensuring smooth operation and consistent intonation.

The EEP426 and EEP426S valves are made from high-grade brass, a material known for its durability and ability to produce a rich, full sound. The valves feature a balanced weight and a comfortable hand position, allowing for easy maneuverability and reducing fatigue during extended playing sessions.

The valve casings are designed with a smooth, polished finish that reduces friction and ensures seamless movement. The valve guides are precision-machined to ensure accurate alignment, ensuring a consistent seal between the valve casing and the valve slide.

The EEP426 and EEP426S valves are also equipped with high-quality nickel silver pistons. These pistons are not only durable but also provide a quick and responsive action, enhancing the overall playing experience. The pistons are also fitted with high-quality felt pads that provide a secure seal and help to minimize air leakage.

The EEP426S valves are further enhanced with a slide lock mechanism. This feature allows you to lock the slide in place, ensuring it doesn't move during transport or storage. This not only protects your instrument but also helps to maintain the slides' position, ensuring consistent intonation.

In conclusion, the Eastman EEP426 and EEP426S Intermediate Euphonium Valves are a great investment for any intermediate or advanced level euphonium player. Their high-quality construction, smooth operation, and responsive action make them an excellent choice for enhancing your euphonium's performance.

Details:

This is a Eastman 426s euphonium baritone that I am the original owner of. The case is a protect backpack that also has hand handle. This model sells for around $2800 new. It has no dents to speak of and all valve tuning slides move freely, as does the valves.

It is a large shank horn and has the 3/1 valve system. It comes with a Bach 6 1/2 Al's mouthpiece and blessing 51d mouth piece as well. It has a little silver plate wear on the tubing slides but nothing extreme at all and it does not effect playing of this horn.
