Serial number is: b670x 1970's. Maybe the bell was made in Elkhart and finished elsewhere. Since the spot is so small, it doesn't affect any movement. I'm selling a Conn 88h trombone.

Either way, this Conn plays well and gets a lovely, warm sound. Been cleaned and serviced, comes with soft pro-etc case. Perfect horn for a high schooled, early college player, or Conn enthusiast. The previous owner took great care of this instrument, looks to be the original lacquer.

The valve is open blowing and the slide in nice shape, 8/10. Pictured is a tiny spot of wear on one the inner sleeves main hand slide. Judging from the bells engraving, this trombone lines up with early 70's.
