Details:

Our horns may be buffed, but all are hand polished to a good shine and in playable condition. The horn comes with a used case that has broken latches. There are three smooth playing valves labeled 1,2 and 3 with a union insignia label on valve #2. The horn has a 7 bell flare.

All major dents are removed, joints re-soldered if needed, patches repaired necessary and the slides reworked. There is compression and the valves work well, but likely may need to be adjusted or serviced. It has matching serial numbers 311x. This is a vintage horn in very nice condition and plays beautifully, with smooth, full tone.

I am strictly a slide trombone player. The instrument is not lacquered; therefore, it may have to be polished periodically. The middle latch is the one working. Even though I played the instrument, am not familiar with valve trombones per se.

The horn is satin silver finished with bright polished engraving on the bell. The bell is beautifully engraved. Comes with two tuning crooks. There is some pitting at the grips.
